A fairly early design for Corn, they only started
tile making in 1891. An interesting adaption of the
classic 'Longden' style aesthetic quartered layout
with groups of flowers replacing single stylised
flowerheads. Very attractive with some naivety as
the printing and glazing have minor flaws, painted
in four colours with an especially bright blue.
Very clean bar verso with printed company
initials, pattern number and registration number
(indistinct) and England embossed.
