Very small chip right edge, tiny surface chip
bottom right corner otherwise near perfect surface,
very clean and bright. Style:
Aesthetic movement A pleasing 'arts & crafts movement style'
tile, an interesting design in the trellis
format not repeating four square but repeating
in a 'T' shape a rare variation on the drop
repeat pattern. The naive style of medieval
design popularised by Williams Morris, William
de Morgan and the arts and crafts movement but
there is nothing naive about the fine
manufacturing quality of Minton Hollins. A good,
square, bright white tile very well printed and
brilliantly glazed. Versos near perfectly clean, embossed Minton
Hollins etc. Shallow chip, minor losses top edge, left edge a
glazed over manufacturing flaw, very clean,
brilliantly glazed,perfect surface.
