Bottom corners trimmed for the original fixing,
one very tiny chip bottom edge, perfectly clean and
brilliantly glazed. Style:
Floral rococo A nice stylised floral design in a typical
victorian aesthetic layout, well printed and
nicely decorated in three colours. Quite a victorian design but edwardian, one
can understand why Pilkington made such a design
but why they registered it when the market was
clearly moving away from such designs is quite a
mystery. Also rather odd is that Pilkington's
manufacturing quality was usually really
excellent and their decorating rather suspect,
this is the opposite the biscuit is rather
misshaped but the decoration rrally great.. Verso perfectly clean apart from two pencil
lines, embossed P's, registration number and
pattern number printed.
