A little roughness to the tip of the rim more
manufacturing flaw than wear, perfect surface. Style: Secessionist A highly stylised floral design probably a
poppy block printed in two colours. This from
the Léon-Victor Solon period at Mintons,
two years before he became art director, to my
mind their greatest era, and with the sense of
'arts & crafts movement style' and
secessionist precursor to art nouveau. Verso clean but a little grubby, embossed
Mintons etc, printed pattern and registration
numbers.
