Two minute rim chips, a very tiny chip to the
outline, outline glaze is worn, other light surface
marks. Style: Art
nouveau A ridiculously outrageous tile with super
colours, burnt orange, purple and a super blue
ground - quite the best colours I have seen on
an art nouveau tile from the company. An unusual
technique having a broad moulded outline painted
in black glaze. I've only seen one before, would
love to see more. Condition lets this down a
little but it's surface marks which aren't
obvious unless caught at an angle, for someone
skilled with a kiln a good candidate for
refiring. In any case it is just fabulous Verso very clean, embossed P in opposing
corners, slight clay loss, pattern number in
pencil.
