An exceedingly rare and totally incredible
tile, Art Deco without a doubt yet dating from
1905. Superb colours too, the red especially
gorgeous, reds were difficult colours to produce
and this is one of the best.
The date is determined from the pattern
number and comparing with known tiles with both
pattern number and design registration number
from the company. Ollivant ceased trading around
1907/8.
A true rarity and the only one available.
Verso clean, some slight stain, painted
pattern number.
