Collectors of the series may note that the each subject had two engaving plates, one for painting and one for plain printing, on rare occasions one may find a for-colour engraving on a plain printed tile. The colour plates have less detail but what detail there is is mostly better quality, facial features, hands etc whilst less attention is paid to patterns and shading. Verso clear of adhesive but stained, embossed Wedgwood etc, painted pattern number.
