Very slight damage to corners more wear than
chips, one very tiny and a few minute rim chip,
upper left chip is a glazed over manufacturing
flaw, one light scratch, other very minor surface
marks. Style: Art
nouveau Fruit is a relatively
rare subject on art nouveau tiles, this design
is one of the more often found. A well
proportioned tile the design sufficiently bold
yet not to close to the edges which could limit
its use where tiles are framed. The fruits I
presume plums although there are some varieties
of similarly shaped apples, I can only recall
seeing them in this colour and yellow, it would
be nice to see some more vibrant
colourways. Versos near perfectly clean, embossed 7. Minor chips/wear at corners, very minor surface
marks, two pimples in the glaze so close to the
edge they would be hidden by a frame.
