Very tiny chip bottom left corner, a slight loss
and minute glaze chip to the tip of the rim bottom
edge, light cleaning marks just above bottom
typical for washstand tiles surface otherwise very
near perfect. Style: Art nouveau An excellent somewhat restrained art nouveau
design, easily called art deco by many with its
regular shapes however I believe this first came
to market around 1908. A good blue ground,
somewhat unusual, I may describe it as a steely
turquoise, bold yellow/tan almost orange,
familiar green and brown not at all
inappropriate. Verso near perfectly clean, embossed
greyhound badge, England.
