Very tiny chip top edge otherwise near
perfect. Style: Art
Nouveau? The well known peacock feather design made by
several companies this by Corn Brothers a great
design and this example well glazed in a homely
warm brown. The design appears in Lews Day's book
'Pattern Design' first published in 1903, the
introduction of the Richards version apparently
was April 1904, there is no known indication of
when Corn Bros began producing the design. As
Day famously loathed art nouveau Verso stained and slightly grubby but no
adhesive residue, embossed C in opposing
corners.
