Less than a year later another comes along so I recognise it instantly. From the format one would expect it to be gothic but it certainly isn't the motifs having a very forward looking feel to the style. Block printed in the sense of blocks of colour, stone blocks for printing were dispensed over long before. Hollins thought it an interesting design to register, I agree. I've seen this layout described as nine-section, it is of course a chequer pattern but with a sqare in the middle - as is the background image on this page..
