It is a gorgeous colour and this a well printed example the only really noticable flaw being the miss bottom edge. The great majority we see printed in Indian Blue the colour so familiar it being used for writing in schools and otherwise and produces a sharper image indeed the best of the standard blues although Maw had a secret exceptionally clear formulation. Also seen on this series and other Wedgwood tiles is a pale blue somewhat like Mintons F Blue. It has a glazed verso being purpose made for pot stands and jaridnieres and judging by the undamaged but lightly worn condition has been well cared for as it fulfilled its role in a pot stand for many years.   Information Tiles For Sale Contacts Order Information
